01A childhood bike crash — and the dentist who changed everything.
As a kid, Kevin Shively chipped a tooth in a bicycle accident. He was scared, hurting — and not entirely sure he wanted to be in that chair. What happened next is the whole reason he is one.
His dentist didn't rush. Didn't dismiss the fear. Calmly walked him through every step, answered every question, and put him back together — not just the tooth, but the feeling. That's the appointment Dr. Shively has been recreating for patients in Lubbock ever since.
